so… some of you may be aware that i have a pretty shitty coping mechanism for the ‘oh so familiar’ heartbreak feeling.
for those that don’t, here are some of my tips… for the purpose of making this easier i’m acronyming: said person you’re moving on from to SPYMOF… which is actually a pretty epic acronym… if you ask me.
1) make a lame song about all the shit things SPYMOF used to do
2) call it the ‘fag song’
3) hack their emails
4) send an email to their grade supervisor saying ‘i am addicted to weed, help me’… off their email account.
5) play a game of snake every time you think of SPYMOF

before any of you report me to the authorities… i really only executed 1, 2, 3 and 5 and these were all around two or three years ago, so i’m not actually endorsing that you try any of these. if you’re above the age of 15 or 16. and any of you who even dare to THINK about number 4 can gtf-off-my-blog.

anyway, the point is… i do some pretty weird things when i’m upset. one of my most recent coping mechanisms was to make a list of ‘darwin deez’ style comments. if you haven’t heard ‘bad day’ by darwin deez, listen to it. it’s a fucking horrible song, but you can’t help but laughing at it. it sure beats telling SPYMOF to go play in traffic… or sleeping with their best friend… or something as equally shitty.

moving on, after listening to some zen music i decided to redeem myself (for making that list) by making a new list. this one is in light of ben kweller’s ‘thirteen’ and ‘sundress’… also sorta like my darwin deez list. only this isn’t about SPYMOF… this is about SITATM…. have fun working out that acronym

i’d save you the last piece of your favourite food.
i’d warn you when you’re about to hit your head on something.
i’d warn you when people are knocking on our door.
i’d hide with you when people knock on our door
i’d wear a sundress, just to hear you hum me ben kweller renditions

i probably wouldn’t clean up their shit if I forget to let them out. but this is okay.
because I’d take you to all my favourite places in the world.
i’d make a doonah fort with you and sleep in it all day
i wouldn’t forget your birthday
i’d give you kisses
i’d give you cuddles
i’d give you bus money
i’d let you know that sneans aren’t okay to wear in public
but i’d also let you know that it’s okay with me for you to wear sneans in public… because let’s be serious, i wear sloggeans in public.
i’d repeat words with you until they sounded weird
i’d recommend you books
i’d search the world and lose everything i found
 
i’d remind you if you’d left a banana in your bag

for the past three years of my life i haven’t watched t.v.
every now and then i’ll watch a good documentary series, or the 7:30 report…
but for the most part, i have avoided it.
no home and away, gossip girl, hamish and andy’s road trip, neighbours, desperate houswives…
and certainly no fucking glee, skins or the worst… sex and the freaking city.
but of recent i have started watching a new series, and i actually quite like it.
despite it’s materialistic wank at times, the plot is quite addictive!
pity it’s right before exams :)

12 million to 27 million people in this world today are enslaved…
every twenty six seconds someone is sold into sex slavery.
